Is coffee a meal? Some may argue it is, enjoying a fresh brew regardless of the time of day. Instant coffee definitely has its place when you are camping, but nothing beats a barista made cup of goodness. Compact, light and portable, The Wacaco Nanopresso is a handheld espresso machine. It provides a high extraction quality, up to 18 bar, and achieves the perfect espresso shot every time. 

YOU WILL NEED

The Wacaco Nanopresso

Quality ground coffee

Hot water

Milk, if desired

METHOD

Unscrew the water tank and outlet head on Nanopresso. Use provided scoop to fill filter basket with fine coffee grounds. Place filter basket on top of the main body and screw outlet head into the main body. Add boiling water to the water tank and screw main body into the water tank. Unlock the piston from the travel position. Hold the Nanopresso with two hands and begin pumping slowly. Pump at the right tempo, about one squeeze per second. A creamy espresso is complete! Add warmed milk for a flat white.

*You can’t be stingy on the quality of your coffee grounds. We know, because we tried the cheapest ground coffee available at the supermarket and and nearly choked on its bitterness. It tasted like dirty water! 

Currently we are using FairTrade “Grinders - Deep & Rich Espresso” It is 100% Arabica, medium dark roasted, delivering intense chocolatey flavours. Yummo!
