This week I launched a new Facebook group – RV Project Australia – dedicated to caravan and van projects. It will be a great place to share your progress, tips and tricks, finished projects and anything else. A positive and friendly space.
While researching how to do an easy makeover on our caravan before we left Sydney, I realised that although there is plenty of information on the web, most of it is US or UK based. While there is nothing wrong with the information, I was hoping to see more locally based, Australian made projects. As building and design standards vary according to country and each manufacturer has there own methods in contruction, it makes it very difficult for the budding caravan renovator to know how to go about their project.
Let’s make this group a great place for sharing ideas and on where we take our beloved home on wheels. When you join, please feel free to share your project and tell us a little bit about your plans, or if you’ve finished your project, tell us all about it.

While we have hit the pause button on our full time caravanning life, we have a huge project planned this year. There’s talk of upgrading the rig so we can travel with a roof top tinny and there are big plans to completely overhaul our beloved Coromal Magnum caravan.
